今日は、日本で初めてタクシーに乗るためのコツをマスターしましょう。「魔法のドア」から重要な日本語のフレーズまで、しっかりサポートします！

### 1. How to Catch a Taxi (タクシーの呼び方)

In Japan, you can find taxis at designated “Taxi Stands” near train stations, or you can hail one on the street. But how do you know if it’s available? Look at the electronic sign in the front window!

日本では、駅の近くにある指定の「タクシー乗り場」で見つけるか、道で拾うことができます。でも、空車かどうかはどうやって見分けるのでしょうか？フロントウィンドウにある電子サインを見てください！

If you see the red **空車 (Kuusha)** sign, just raise your hand clearly. The driver will pull over to pick you up.

赤い「**空車（くうしゃ）**」のサインが見えたら、はっきりと手を挙げてください。運転手さんが止まって、あなたを迎え入れてくれます。

### 2. Watch Out! The “Magic” Automatic Doors 🪄

This is the part that surprises most foreigners! In Japan, you don’t need to open or close the taxi door yourself. The left rear door is **automatic** and controlled by the driver.

ここが多くの外国人を驚かせるポイントです！日本では、タクシーのドアを自分で開けたり閉めたりする必要はありません。後部座席の左側のドアは**自動**で、運転手さんが操作します。

Please wait a step back and let the door open by itself. If you try to pull it, you might accidentally damage the mechanism. It’s like being greeted by a robot!

Once you are inside, it’s time to use your Japanese! Don’t worry if you aren’t fluent yet. Most drivers are very patient and helpful.

車内に入ったら、日本語を使うチャンスです！まだ流暢でなくても心配しないでください。ほとんどの運転手さんはとても忍耐強く、親切です。

Showing the destination on **Google Maps** is a great way to ensure there are no misunderstandings!

In Japan, there is **no tipping culture**. You only need to pay the amount shown on the meter. Most modern taxis accept credit cards, Suica/Pasmo, and even apps like PayPay, but smaller companies might only take **現金 (Genkin)** or cash.
