In the Philippines, remotes often use English words like “Cool” or “Power.” But in Japan, everything is in Japanese symbols. To help you stay cool during the hot summer and cozy during the cold winter, let’s master these essential words together!

フィリピンでは、リモコンに「Cool」や「Power」といった英語が使われることが多いですね。しかし、日本ではすべてが漢字で書かれています。暑い夏は涼しく、寒い冬は暖かく過ごせるように、大切な言葉を一緒にマスターしましょう！

Before you do anything else, you need to know how to turn the machine on and off. Look for the biggest button on the remote!

何をするよりも前に、まず機械の付け方と消し方を知る必要があります。リモコンの中で一番大きなボタンを探してみてください。

Japan has four distinct seasons, so your AC does more than just cool the room. You can change the “Mode” (運転切換 – *Unten Kirikae*) to match the weather.

Once you’ve picked a mode, you’ll want to adjust the temperature (温度 – *Ondo*) and how strong the wind blows (風量 – *Fuuryou*).
