But here at **Samurai Japan**, we want to show you that learning Kanji is actually like solving a fun, creative puzzle!
皆さん、こんにちは！日本語の文字の素晴らしい世界へ飛び込む準備はできていますか？多くのフィリピン人の生徒さんは、**漢字**を「登るのが難しい怖い山」のように感じています。しかし、私たち**サムライジャパン**は、漢字学習が実は「楽しくてクリエイティブなパズル」であることを皆さんに伝えたいと思っています！
💡 先生のポイント (Teacher’s Tip):
Don’t try to memorize every single stroke like a robot. Instead, try to see the “picture” inside the Kanji! Most characters started as simple drawings of nature and people.
ロボットのように一画ずつ暗記しようとしないでください。代わりに、漢字の中にある「絵」を見つけてみましょう！ほとんどの文字は、自然や人々を描いたシンプルな絵から始まりました。
### 1. Kanji are Just Pictures! (漢字は絵です！)
Did you know that many basic Kanji look exactly like what they represent? For example, the Kanji for “mountain” (**山**) looks like three mountain peaks. The Kanji for “river” (**川**) looks like flowing water. When you connect the lines to real-life objects, your brain remembers them much faster!
基本的な漢字の多くは、その意味するものと形がそっくりであることを知っていましたか？例えば、「山（**やま**）」という漢字は3つの山頂のように見えます。「川（**かわ**）」という漢字は流れる水のように見えます。線を実際の物と結びつけて考えると、脳はずっと早く記憶してくれますよ！

### 2. Use “Radicals” as Building Blocks (部首をブロックとして使おう)
Most complex Kanji are just combinations of smaller parts called **Radicals** (部首 – *Bushu*). Think of them as LEGO bricks. If you know the brick for “water” (氵), you will see it in many words related to liquids, like “ocean” (海) or “swim” (泳).
ほとんどの複雑な漢字は、「**部首**（ぶしゅ）」と呼ばれる小さなパーツの組み合わせでできています。これらをレゴブロックのように考えてみてください。「水」を表すパーツ（さんずい：氵）を知っていれば、「海」や「泳ぐ」など、液体に関係する多くの言葉の中にそれを見つけることができます。

There are over 2,000 common Kanji, but you only need about 100 to understand basic signs and menus in Japan! Start small and stay consistent.
常用漢字は2,000以上ありますが、日本の基本的な看板やメニューを理解するには、まず100字ほど覚えるだけで大丈夫です！少しずつ、コツコツ続けていきましょう。
